Paid petition gatherers must identify themselves

If a paid signature gatherer asks you to sign a petition, they must say out loud their first name, the state where they legally live, and that they are paid. They must also wear a badge with their full first name and last initial showing this information. This helps you know when a signature collector is being paid. These rules apply immediately upon passage and approval.
