The law requires your homeowners' association to get your permission before its agent enters your private property. When asking, the HOA must try to set a time that works for you and say which part of your property it needs to access. You can require that you or your agent be present for any entry. This does not change access to areas open to the public, like sidewalks or your front door. It also does not apply to condo entries governed by condo bylaws or to recorded easements that give the HOA access.
