The law ends the Small Business Compliance Assistance Advisory Council. It creates a Small Business Stationary Source Representative at the Department of Environmental Quality, outside its regulatory programs. If you run a small business with a stationary source, the representative helps you follow air rules, speaks for you before the department and other agencies, and helps with clear guidance and finding financing. Information you share with the representative is not given to the department for enforcement unless it shows an imminent and substantial danger to health, safety, or the environment.
