Fox Hills-Hell Creek limits end 2027

This law ends on June 30, 2027. Until then, the Department can pause or refuse new groundwater applications of 3,000 gallons per minute or more from the Fox Hills-Hell Creek aquifer in the listed administrative basins. The Bureau of Mines and Geology completes a study on groundwater availability and reports to the Water Policy Interim Committee. On June 30, 2027, these limits and reporting rules stop.
