No campaigning near Montana polling places

Beginning July 1, 2025, the law bans electioneering at any place where you can get or vote a ballot, and within 100 feet of its entrances, while the site is open. It covers actions meant to help or hurt any candidate or ballot issue. Candidates, their family, and campaign staff cannot give voters alcohol, tobacco, food, drinks, or anything of value in these areas. People cannot wear or display political badges, buttons, or similar items inside these voting sites while they are open. No one inside may ask a voter, before or after the voter marks and returns a ballot, how they plan to vote or how they voted.
