Tighter licensing rules for Montana guides

The law tightens who can get and keep a Montana guide license. You must be at least 18 and be physically and mentally fit. You must hold a valid conservation license. You must be endorsed and recommended by a licensed outfitter, unless you meet alternate guide standards set by the state board. To renew, your form must be signed by the outfitter who employs you, or it is denied. The law takes effect immediately on passage and approval.
