Guides need outfitter endorsement and signature

The law requires an endorsement from a licensed outfitter to get a Montana guide license, unless you meet board-set guide standards. To renew, your employing outfitter must sign your renewal application; if it is not signed, the renewal is denied. These rules make outfitter approval a condition for both getting and keeping a guide license. The act takes effect immediately upon passage and approval.
