The law repeals Montana’s requirement to inspect dead animals in feedlots. Feedlot owners and operators no longer have a state inspection duty, and there is no state penalty for not inspecting. The change applies statewide. The act takes effect on passage and approval. It does not add new rules, fees, or programs.
