The UNC Board can let campus employees take courses with tuition and fees free. Courses must be during normal employment and not interfere with job duties. Full-time faculty (instructor or above) can take up to three courses each year. Full-time staff can take more than three each year. Campus police take the number set by Board rules. These enrollments do not count toward General Fund funding. Applies starting with the 2025–2026 academic year.
