The law gives the Office of Management and Budget $152.6 million for July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027. $80.9 million comes from the general fund, and the budget sets 110 full‑time positions. It funds salaries ($23.5 million), operations ($18.2 million), capital assets ($308,355), an emergency contingency fund ($750,000), guardianship grants ($7.1 million), Prairie Public Broadcasting ($1.2 million), community service supervision grants ($350,000), a $98.2 million pool for new and vacant FTEs, and $3.0 million for state employee child care benefits. Within this budget, $1.8 million is only for unemployment insurance, $25,000 for the Capitol grounds planning commission, and $685,657 for statewide memberships and related expenses.
The law uses the community service supervision fund to support community corrections association regions. OMB must distribute the money each year on or before August 1. This applies from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027.
The law lets OMB keep and use unspent fiscal management funds from 2023. The money can pay for statewide accounting, management, and payroll systems during July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027. This keeps those systems running without a lapse.
