The law provides about $76.2 million for the National Guard from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027. About $17.9 million comes from the state general fund; the rest is federal or special funds. The money pays salaries, daily operations, recruiting and tuition help, air and army guard contracts, civil air patrol, reintegration, and veterans’ cemetery support. The law also lets the state use any extra money put into the veterans’ cemetery maintenance fund to run the cemetery during this biennium.
The law funds the Department of Emergency Services with about $122.4 million for the 2025–2027 biennium. About $7.8 million comes from the state general fund; the rest is other funds. The money covers pay, daily operations, grants, and disaster response costs. This keeps statewide emergency response and recovery ready.
The Act provides about $198.6 million in total funding for July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027. About $25.6 million comes from the state general fund; the rest is other funds. It supports 233 full-time equivalent positions. These totals cover the Office of the Adjutant General and related programs in this Act.
The law lets the budget director move up to $500,000 to fix state-owned armories in 2025–2027. The transfer must go to operating costs or capital repairs in this Act’s line items. The Adjutant General must ask for the transfer and notify the Legislative Council. This keeps armory buildings maintained during the biennium.
