15% deer bow tags for nonresidents

North Dakota sets aside 15% of last year’s mule deer gun-season licenses for nonresidents. These reserved licenses let you hunt any deer with a bow and arrow. The wildlife agency uses the prior regular gun season total to set the number each year. This reduces the number of licenses left for residents by the same share.
