Window tint limits for drivers

North Dakota sets limits on how dark car windows can be. The windshield with any object, material, or tint must let in at least 70% of light. Each other window with any object, material, or tint must let in at least 35% of light. These limits do not apply to windows behind the driver if the car has outside mirrors on both sides that meet section 39-21-38.
