Cities can allow golf carts, with limits

Your city can pass a rule to let golf carts use city streets. This only applies where the city adopts the rule. Carts may not drive on federal, state, or county highways in the city, except to cross straight across. Use is limited to daytime trips between the owner's home and a golf course; night driving is not allowed. When allowed, carts do not need state title, registration, or the usual equipment under Title 39.
