Funding to run North Dakota IT systems

The law provides $281,064,809 for July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027. $41,418,305 comes from the general fund and $239,646,504 from other funds. It supports 507 full-time jobs. Major items include salaries and wages $112,233,364, operating expenses $119,115,018, and capital assets $3,443,909. Flexibility to move IT project funds

The budget director can move money between this Act’s IT line items. The Chief Information Officer must request the transfer. The director must find it is needed for IT project work. These transfers are allowed even if section 54-16-04 would block them. The department must tell the Legislative Council about any transfer.
