North Dakota lawmakers can see your tax incentive amounts

The North Dakota Tax Commissioner can share the dollar amount of any state tax deduction, credit, or exemption you claimed or earned. A written request must come from the chairman of legislative management or the chairman of a standing committee. Your name and other protected details cannot be shared. The Commissioner must notify taxpayers that these amounts may be disclosed. The law applies retroactively to incentives claimed or granted after December 31, 2024, and also covers incentives awarded after July 31, 2025.
