Caps on bar exam and motion fees

The State Board of Law Examiners, with North Dakota Supreme Court approval, now sets two bar admission fees. One fee is for applicants who take the bar exam; the law sets a cap, but the printed dollar cap has a typo and is unclear. The other fee is for admission on motion and cannot be more than $400. These are one-time application costs for those applicants. All fees are deposited and disbursed under section 54-44-12 of state law.
