North Dakota intrastate drivers can skip duty logs

Intrastate commercial drivers in North Dakota can skip a duty-status log if strict limits are met. You must stay within 150 air miles of your normal reporting place or the vehicle’s official worksite. You must have at least 10 straight hours off between each 14 hours on duty. Except for driver-salespersons, you must return to your reporting place and be released within 14 hours. Your motor carrier must keep accurate daily start and end times for six months. These changes take effect immediately as an emergency measure.
