Sensitive images kept out of records

The law defines a “sensitive image” in public records. Sensitive image means an image with exposed intimate parts, a gruesome injury, a dead person, or a minor. Unless another law requires release, sensitive images are exempt from disclosure. Agencies may also withhold body‑camera images that show nudity, serious injury, or a deceased person. Any image taken in a private place is exempt. Crash- or incident‑scene images are exempt if they show nudity, serious injury, a deceased person, or a minor.
