Cottage food sales only in-state, in person

The law bars cottage food sales from crossing state lines. You cannot sell over the internet, by phone, by mail, or on consignment. Sales must happen face to face in North Dakota. Poultry products also cannot be sold across state lines.

Tight meat rules, limited poultry sales

The law bans selling uninspected meat as cottage food, except as allowed in subdivision db. You may sell uninspected poultry you raised only if all three rules are true.
