Pharmacists can supervise four; one must be certified

The law lets a licensed Nebraska pharmacist supervise up to four people at once, up from three. These can be any mix of pharmacy technicians and pharmacist interns. If a pharmacist supervises four people, at least one must be a certified pharmacy technician. A pharmacist intern must be supervised at all times while doing intern duties. This nonstop supervision does not apply when the intern is in experiential training run by their accredited pharmacy program. Supervision may cover all parts of pharmacy practice unless restricted.
