Military base child care exempt

The law exempts child care on military bases and other federal property from Nebraska child care licensing. Family child care that is licensed by the U.S. Department of Defense or the U.S. Coast Guard is also exempt. Providers in these settings do not need a Nebraska license. This can make child care easier for military families, but state rules and inspections do not apply.
