To get matching funds under the Nebraska Rural Projects Act, applicants must pay a one-time, nonrefundable $1,000 fee when they file. The application must name the project and qualified location, show projected new investment and the applicant’s resources, and list the E-Verify number(s) for employees at that site.
The state accepts Innovation Hub applications only through December 31, 2025. Only private nonprofit corporations and inland port authorities can apply. Applications must include a purpose and partner plan, a map and central location, a budget and management plan, an industry focus, startup supports, a five-year goals plan, and performance standards.
