The law expands Nebraska’s list of illegal deceptive business acts. It bans false claims about a product’s source, approval, quality, price cuts, or whether items are new. It targets pyramid and chain-referral sales (unless there is a real inventory buyback), misleading privacy notices, and file-sharing installs without clear notice and user activation. It also covers deceptive right-to-list home sale deals and certain harmful sexual material involving minors. Consumers or state enforcers can challenge these practices.
