Set pay raises for Nebraska Supreme Court justices

The law sets fixed annual pay for the Chief Justice and Nebraska Supreme Court judges. Salaries are paid in equal monthly amounts. On July 1, 2022: $198,426.51. On July 1, 2023: $212,316.37. On July 1, 2024: $225,055.35. Beginning July 1, 2025: $228,431.18. On July 1, 2026: $231,857.65.

No other paid public jobs for Nebraska justices

Beginning July 1, 2025, the Chief Justice and Nebraska Supreme Court judges cannot hold any other paid public office while in term. They also cannot accept any paid federal appointment or job during their term. This limits extra public pay while they serve.
