You can get a Nebraska high school equivalency diploma if you are not a high school graduate. It has the same standing as a regular diploma. You must be at least 18 and either cannot get a diploma from your last high school or your class has been graduated for at least one year. You must be a Nebraska resident for the 30 days before you apply or your last credit-earning high school attendance was in a Nebraska school. You must also pass approved tests and meet other criteria set by the Commissioner of Education.
