Connecticut Lakes off-highway vehicle trails open through Columbus Day
The law keeps all existing off-highway recreational vehicle (OHRV) trails on the Connecticut Lakes headwaters working forest open through the second Monday in October (Columbus Day). It overrides any conservation easement, contract, law, or rule that would close them sooner. This rule applies only to existing trails on that property. The law takes effect upon passage.
