School staff need parent OK for medical trips

Beginning 60 days after passage, every school district must adopt this rule. School staff cannot transport or accompany a minor who is not their immediate family to a medical or health appointment unless the parent or guardian knows and approves. Emergency ambulance rides are allowed. Staff may act if they follow a published school emergency health or medical protocol.
