Stronger recounts and audits in New Hampshire
The law requires officials to recount other races on the same ballots after a state representative recount in a general election. The Secretary of State must publish all recount and audit procedures and the times they will be held. If a recount is requested, audits take place after the recount is finished. These changes take effect 60 days after the law’s passage.
