Law takes effect in 60 days

The law starts 60 days after passage. All parts of this act take effect on that schedule unless another date is stated. There is no end date.

New voter list update deadlines

The law sets a firm cutoff after the Saturday correction session before an election. After that session, supervisors cannot add or fix names, except for the limited exceptions in RSA 659:12. Supervisors must post all session changes to the voter checklist by midnight of the following Friday, either by editing the list or posting a corrected list. They must also notify the town or city clerk of these updates.
