Grants to preserve public historic properties
The law lets the division of historic resources use conservation number plate funds to run and pay grants. The grants preserve significant, publicly owned historic properties. To qualify, a property must be publicly owned, at least 50 years old, and listed in or eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. The law does not set grant amounts or application rules. It takes effect 60 days after passage.
