Up to full property tax relief for disabled veterans
The law lets your city or town adopt an optional property tax credit for veterans with a service‑connected total disability. The credit is at least $701 and can be set up to 100% of your property tax bill. If adopted, this optional credit replaces the standard veteran credit and is not added on top. If your municipality does not adopt it, the existing credit rules stay the same. The law takes effect 60 days after passage.
