Optional property tax relief for disabled veterans
New Hampshire cities and towns can adopt an optional property tax credit for veterans with a service-connected total disability. The local credit ranges from $701 up to 100% of the property tax on eligible property. Your city or town must adopt the credit and sets the amount available. This credit replaces the standard credit; you cannot add the two together. The law takes effect 60 days after passage.
