Yearly raise to nursing home allowance

Beginning January 1, 2026, New Hampshire adjusts the nursing home personal needs allowance every year. The update follows Social Security cost-of-living increases. Before, the state adjusted this only once every five years. If you receive this allowance, your pocket money rises when Social Security has a cost-of-living increase.
