Geographic noncompetes banned for advanced practice nurses
If you are an advanced practice registered nurse licensed in New Hampshire, your contract cannot bar you from practicing in any location after you leave a job, partnership, or other professional relationship. Only the geographic limit is void. Other parts of the contract still apply. This rule applies to new contracts and renewals signed on or after the law’s effective date. The law takes effect 60 days after its passage.
