Easier parking certification for people with disabilities

More licensed professionals can certify your need for disability parking. Physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists can certify that your disability limits walking. A VA or Department of Defense certificate showing a qualifying service-connected disability also counts. The form must state if your condition is permanent, will last more than 6 months, or 6 months or less. A staff member may fill out the form under the licensed professional’s direction, but the medical decision must be made by that professional.
