State bonds buy Las Vegas Supreme Court building

The state may issue up to $9 million in general obligation bonds in the 2025–2027 biennium. The money must be used to buy the Nevada Supreme Court Building at 408 East Clark Avenue in Las Vegas. The State Land Registrar can negotiate and sign the purchase for the Department of Administration. This authority starts July 1, 2025.

Upgrades to Nevada Supreme Court technology and equipment

The state funds court technology and equipment starting July 1, 2025. $814,720 upgrades the multicounty justice information system, and $1,413,605 replaces court audio and video gear. It also provides $294,400 for FY 2025–2026 and $107,040 for FY 2026–2027 to replace computers and other tech. For the first two items, money cannot be committed after June 30, 2027 or spent after September 17, 2027; any leftover returns by September 17, 2027. For the yearly tech funds, FY 2025–2026 money must be used by September 18, 2026, and FY 2026–2027 money by September 17, 2027.
