State IT gets loan for backup power

The state gives the Chief Information Officer a loan to replace backup power gear and related licenses and maintenance. It provides $790,902 in FY2025-2026 and $9,450 in FY2026-2027. The law takes effect July 1, 2025. Starting July 1, 2027, the CIO repays 25% each year from intergovernmental transfer revenues to the State Treasurer, with final payment by the end of FY2030-2031. Unspent money cannot be committed after June 30 and must revert to the State General Fund by September 18, 2026 (FY2025-2026) and September 17, 2027 (FY2026-2027).
