New funds for Agriculture software and equipment

The Nevada Department of Agriculture receives $302,734 from the State General Fund. It includes $38,761 to buy software for Veterinary Medical Services. It also includes $51,485 to replace veterinary equipment and $212,488 to replace Administrative Services equipment. The money is available starting July 1, 2025.

Deadlines to use Agriculture funding

Leftover money from these appropriations cannot be committed after June 30, 2027. It cannot be spent after September 17, 2027. Any unspent money must return to the State General Fund by September 17, 2027. These limits apply starting July 1, 2025.
