Funds to replace Nevada emergency radio system

The law gives the Nevada Department of Transportation $2,865,572 from the State General Fund and $15,039,943 from the State Highway Fund to replace the Nevada Shared Radio System. The money is available July 1, 2025, and may be used only for this project. NDOT and any subrecipients cannot commit remaining funds after June 30, 2027, or spend any after September 17, 2027. Any unspent money must return to the original fund by September 17, 2027.
