Beginning November 1, 2025, people filing complaints against Oklahoma appraisers no longer need to sign them. This covers complaints to the Real Estate Appraiser Board against trainee, state-licensed, and state-certified appraisers. Complaints must still be written on a Board-approved form. People can submit them on paper or electronically.
Beginning November 1, 2025, Oklahoma replaces its 75-hour trainee appraiser education minimum with the Appraiser Qualifications Board's education requirements. Applicants must show the Oklahoma Real Estate Appraiser Board proof of completion; no trainee exam is required. Qualifying appraisal courses must come from a nationally recognized appraisal organization or an approved college, university, technology center, or private school. Classes must be available across Oklahoma regions and include professional practice standards. The state Board no longer has to set trainee class prices, and the law sets no replacement prices.
