Counties gain access to engineering services
Beginning November 1, 2025, Oklahoma counties can request and enter agreements for services offered by Circuit Engineering Districts. These districts must be created under state law, and agreements must follow the Interlocal Cooperation Act. The county purchasing and construction-contract rules cited in the law do not block these agreements. This change does not provide direct household payments or set aside funding.
