New fund for Oklahoma military-base schools

The law creates an ongoing infrastructure fund and program within the Oklahoma Military Department. Money directed into the fund by law is approved for spending and remains available across fiscal years. The department must use it for infrastructure investments, including new or improved schools on Oklahoma military bases. Projects must help reduce the risk of military base or infrastructure closures, or make expansions more likely. The department can combine fund money with other available funding; the law sets no dollar amount. The act lists July 1, 2025, as its effective date, but also includes an emergency clause stating immediate effect upon passage and approval.
