Beginning July 1, 2025, the law creates a continuing infrastructure fund and program for the Oklahoma Military Department. Money directed to the fund by law is approved for program spending across budget years, with no funding amount specified. The Department must use the money to reduce closure risks or support expansion of Oklahoma military bases and other military infrastructure. Investments can include licenses and software for military simulation training, and the Department can combine the fund with other money. Payments require claims filed as required by law with the Office of Management and Enterprise Services for approval and payment. The State Treasurer issues payment warrants against those claims.
