New commission sets Oklahoma officials' pay

The law creates the Statewide Official Compensation Commission with the same members as the Board on Legislative Compensation. It can meet only on the same date as that board. It sets salaries for the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, State Treasurer, and State Auditor and Inspector. It also sets pay for the Superintendent of Public Instruction, State Insurance Commissioner, Commissioner of Labor, and Corporation Commission members. Salaries cannot fall below each official's salary in effect on January 1, 2025. Each salary applies to terms beginning on or after the date the commission sets it. Salary changes must follow Article XXIII, Section 10 of the Oklahoma Constitution.
