$200 million for children's heart care facilities

The Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority can use $200 million in available Legacy Capital Financing Fund money for the University Hospitals Authority. The money must build, renovate, or expand hospital facilities that diagnose and treat children's heart conditions. The authority can release the money in one or more installments. The 20-year fund replenishment period and related payments start in the state fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026. These payments must follow the Legacy Capital Financing Act. The authority can make agreements with state agencies to carry out the project, but these cannot create state legal obligations or interfere with that act.
