Beginning July 1, 2026, the annual fee deposit cap for the Oklahoma Ethics Commission Fund rises from $150,000 to $250,000. The first $250,000 in fees each fiscal year goes into that fund. Fees above that amount go into the Ethics Commission Online Filing Revolving Fund. Money in the Ethics Commission Fund stays available across fiscal years to pay expenses tied to the Commission’s legal duties. Payments require legally filed claims, State Treasurer warrants, and approval by the Office of Management and Enterprise Services director. The law also includes an emergency clause taking effect upon passage and approval.
