The Attorney General's Office must transfer the remaining $250,000 to the Public Safety Technology Revolving Fund. House Bill 1250 from the Legislature's 2026 session created that fund. The transfer uses money appropriated for July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. This law does not specify how the fund spends the money or provide direct household payments.
The law provides $2.25 million from Oklahoma's General Revenue Fund to the Attorney General's Office. Of that total, $2 million must fund implementation of Senate Bill 1379 from the Legislature's 2026 session. The funding covers July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, and does not specify direct household payments. The law sets a July 1, 2026, effective date. It also includes an emergency clause stating that it takes effect upon passage and approval.
