The Water Resources Board deposits $10 million into the Rural Economic Action Plan Water Projects Fund (Fund 225). The money is available beginning July 1, 2026. The Board can work with banks to hold and lend these dollars under its rules. This supports loans and projects for rural water systems across Oklahoma.
The law sets aside $2 million to design a regional water system in northeast Oklahoma. The funding is available beginning July 1, 2026. It pays for planning and design to serve communities in that region.
The law provides $925,000 from the state General Revenue Fund to the Water Resources Board. The money is for the year ending June 30, 2027. It supports work required by another new water law, Senate Bill 259. Funds are available beginning July 1, 2026.
