The law provides a one-time $800,000 from Oklahoma’s Statewide Recovery Fund to the J.D. McCarty Center. The money supports medical care for children with developmental disabilities who are disproportionately affected by the pandemic. The Center must follow recommendations adopted by the Joint Committee on Pandemic Relief Funding on May 12, 2025. The law takes effect immediately upon passage and approval. It does not set an amount of help per child.
