More boats qualify as Oklahoma kayaks

Beginning November 1, 2025, Oklahoma broadens its legal definition of a kayak. Kayaks must be light and narrow, with both ends usually tapered to a sharp point. One or more people seated inside or on top must power them using double-bladed paddles, hand cranks, or pedals. Users no longer need to face the direction of travel. The provided text does not specify any resulting change to registration duties, fees, or other costs.
