Counties can offer broader health discounts

Beginning November 1, 2025, Oklahoma county commissioners can join a broader health discount program. The National Association of Counties’ Live Healthy program replaces the prescription-only program with prescription, health, and dental discounts. Residents may gain access if their county joins. The law does not set discount amounts or guarantee savings.

Counties can help lower ambulance district costs

Beginning November 1, 2025, Oklahoma county commissioners can work with ambulance service districts to help lower district costs. This authority covers districts established under Article X, Section 9C of the Oklahoma Constitution. The law sets no required savings amount and does not guarantee lower ambulance bills for residents.
